Involuntarity is one of the most relevant Linguistic topics in the last ten years. Its importance is related to the large set of areas it could be capital -Semantics, Syntax, Morphology, Pragmatics and the own concepts from them —Agentivity, Intentionality, Accidentality —. This book consists in a general introduction to Involuntarity in Spanish. The different contributions allow the insertion of this concept from relevant ways to Spanish Linguistics. The main result is the first line of the study of Involuntarity in a Romance language, the basis to future investigations about this concept from a universal scope.
