The new school year is beginning and here I am in 3rd Grade when I’d just as soon repeat summer vacation. And that’s not all. I’m in a new
school so, of course, I don’t know anybody. What’s even worse,my Mom’s the teacher. That’s right, my Mom’s my new 3rd Grade teacher!
What could be worse than that? All I want is to be just another kid in the class. So I decided that nobody in the class would ever find out the truth.
And there’s more. It’s my Mom’s first year as a teacher. She’s just finished teacher training. Before, she was a nurse. What if she’s not a good teacher ? What if all the kids make fun of me?
